Responsibilities:
- Ensure all members are following GMPs, set the proper example for members.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Grading/Breaking Department
- Ensure production is running efficiently.
- Proper running of the washroom
- Proper running of the breaking room
- Filling of tankers
- Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained throughout the workday.
- Work with the USDA
- Assist with training of new members.
- Setting up of washroom and lines
- Responsible for daily startup/end of the day procedures.
- Responsible for daily cleaning
- Perform HACCP checks every hour and document them.
- The ability to prepare work area and necessary equipment as assigned.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualification may entail one or more of the following:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a Processor II for a minimum of 6 months and with the company 1 year.
- No written warnings for attendance or conduct
- Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned.
- Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, or cattle.
- Must follow all company HACCP rules and GMPs.
- All SQF courses are complete with no corrective actions.
- proficient operating in 3 to 6 positions offered within our location leads by example in all aspects of the job duties and on the processing floor, follows SOP and Training Material requirements and can assist new members and/or cross-training members (MF only currently)
- Must be able to pass job required Observation and Assessment on LMS
- Document 100 egg samples for internal/external in-line or offline (reviewed by QA)- Dependent on location.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors.
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb and lift at least 25 pounds. continuously throughout the day and 50 pounds occasionally.
