PA - Sanitation Team Lead - 3rd Shift

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the daily cleaning of the processing facilities nightly to Herbruck’s Quality Standards.

Position Responsibilities:

Ensure all employees are dressed in proper P.P.E. that pertains to the assigned job
Complete daily sanitation sign off
Complete daily pre-op inspection
Complete checklist and paperwork as assigned
Perform any/ all duties assigned to you by your Supervisor or Manager
Always make sure everyone is working in a safe manner, follow all company rules/policy
Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds
Must follow all company HACCP rules and GMPs, lead example

Qualifications:

Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned.
Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds
Proficient knowledge and ability to complete 100% of the jobs at your location plus 50% of the jobs at another location in accordance with Herbruck’s Quality Standards
Ability to lead team members towards a common goal and help achieve success. to coach team members to get the best out of them in a professional manner
Demonstrated ability to work as a productive team player
Understand knowledge of machinery
Does not have regular contact with birds, pigs or cattle.

Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. continuously throughout the day
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Lift up to 50 pounds
Team Lift up to 100 pounds
